With the recent weather we’ve had, we just wanted to remind everyone about snow and solar in Wisconsin.
Solar panels are made and certified to withstand high snow and wind loads, so they are durable in all weather conditions. We do not recommend cleaning snow off panels – the eventual sun and tilt of the modules will allow the snow to melt and slide off naturally, just like it does off a roof. Any tampering with the modules, especially if on a roof, is dangerous.
